Refrigerant R-32
Residential Air Conditioning Gas
R-32 also known as difluoromethnae and belongs to the HFC family of refrigerant. Its chemical formula is CH2F2. R-32 is a next generation refrigerant that efficiently carries heat and has lower environmental impact. It can reduce consumption up to approximately 10% compared to that of air conditioners using refrigerant R-22. R-32 has almost 1/3th GWP as compared to other Refrigerants like R-22 & R-410A. It has been used extensively as a component of 410A and 407 series blends.
APPLICATIONS:
- Commercial and Domestic Air Conditioning: Inverter AC, Fixed Speed on-off Air Conditioners, de-humidifiers & heat pumps.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- R-32 cannot be used as a ‘drop in’ replacement for R-410A in existing systems
- Charging can be done in liquid or vapor phase
- R-32 should not be discharged to atmosphere
